BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – An Illinois man was sentenced this week to life in federal prison for aggravated sexual abuse of a minor.

Larry Bryan Nash, 40, of Nokomis, Illinois, formerly of Fort Campbell, was sentenced to life in federal prison, followed by a life-term of supervised release, for aggravated sexual abuse of a minor.

According to court documents, while enlisted in the United States Army and stationed at Fort Campbell Military Reservation, Nash knowingly caused a minor to engage in sexual acts.

Court documents indicate that Nash did so on multiple occasions between March 5, 2020, and September 16, 2021, and specifically on September 29, 2021, by using force against the victim.

Court documents show that the minor was older than 12 and younger than 16, and the abuse had gone on for several years prior.

There is no parole in the federal system.
