Gen Z targeted in health awareness campaign [Video]

HARTFORD, CONN (WTIC Radio)– The Hartford Insurance Group joined forces with a national non-profit called Active Minds to promote health awareness and to provide support to the youngest generation in the workplace.

The exhibit is called Send Silence Packing and has toured the country for more than a decade.Organizers said this was the first time it was held inside a State Capitol.

It featured 100 backpacks, each had a personal story covering silence, loss, survival and resilience.

The two organizations also launched a new digital guide for Gen Z workers to navigate mental health resources in the workplace.
