FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) – Meet Tripp, a 3-year-old neutered male Boxer-Labrador Retriever mix at the Fairbanks Animal Shelter.

He was brought to the shelter because his prior owner was moving and unable to bring him along. Shelter staff say Tripp has not let this keep him down as he is a bundle of joy and energy! He loves to meet new people and has been very friendly with the shelter staff.

Tripp is kennel-trained and housebroken, and he has done a good job of keeping his area of the shelter clean. His personality was described as being mostly Boxer-like, with a few Lab characteristics thrown in.

In his prior home however Tripp was said to be a bit selective about spending time with other dogs, so please make sure that you are doing slow and appropriate introductions with all new friends.
