Carmel and Fishers High Schools also represented Indiana well with a fifth and seventh-place finish.

DAYTON, Ohio — One central Indiana high school is adding another music world championship gold medal to its trophy case.

The team dominated its World Class final with a score of 99.350 — over 2.6 full points over the Arcadia High School who placed second.

Avon High School Bands posted on social media that the performance of “Voila” was “Powerful, Emotional, Stunning, Brilliant, Gorgeous, Extraordinary & Historic!”

Carmel and Fishers High Schools also represented Indiana well with a fifth place finish with a 91.750 and seventh place with a 89.250.

Warren Central and Northview rounded out the Indiana schools in the top 10 with ninth and tenth place finishes respectively. 

Center Grove placed 15th overall scoring an 81.250.
