GADSDEN, Ala. (WBRC) – The sky’s the limit with a new move to increase business at The Northeast Regional Airport in Gadsden. The airport is getting more than two dozen new hangars for private and corporate planes.

From single engine to corporate jets, Gadsden Airport Manager Anthony Tarver says private planes will be able to have their own hangar with this new upgrade.

Gadsden Northeast Regional Airport has partnered with the development firm Avion to add up to 28 new t-hangars and new box hangars. More hangars means more people can fly into Gadsden Airport instead of going into Birmingham.
