The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the murder of a former Leetonia High School teacher, nearly 5 months after she was found shot to death in her truck — right outside her home.

21 News sat down with Michelle Long’s family — including her sister, who found her dead. They say, they want justice. 

Columbiana County Sheriff Brian McLaughlin says, he believes they know who took Long’s life. It’s only a matter of waiting on crucial evidence.

Sara Lewis found her sister, 50-year-old Michelle Long, shot to death in the driver’s seat of Long’s pick-up truck, right outside of Long’s Salem on November 29th.
