Chickasaw County hospital now has an open emergency room | News [Video]

HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) – An emergency room has opened at the Houston hospital.

This addition to Progressive Health of Houston is filling a gap in life-saving healthcare that has been missing in the area for 10 years.

“We hope to give the best possible care that’s available here,” said Brad Huffman, the administrator. “We know there will be unexpected emergencies happen, and just being available is the biggest thing.”

The ER administrator says that the ER has already seen tons of foot traffic, and adds they are thankful to be in Houston to save lives.
