Morning Joe Praises Biden Speech, Ignoring ‘Pause’ Flub [Video]

Morning Joe’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski offered praise for President Joe Biden’s speech to union workers this week, but ignored the moment he channeled Anchorman character Ron Burgundy and read a little too much from his teleprompter.

On Thursday, Morning Joe aired clips from Biden’s talk to a union legislative conference after he earned the endorsement of the North America’s Building Trades Unions. In the two segments touching on the speech, Biden took shots at his likely November opponent, Donald Trump.

In one clip aired, Biden accused Trump of recommending people inject bleach into their veins to combat Covid-19, referring to Trump infamously inquiring about disinfectant being used to combat Covid, though he clarified later during the same talk that he was not promoting an injection method.
