COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s Marvin Harrison Jr., long expected by many to be the first receiver off the board in the 2024 NFL Draft, fulfilled that projection Thursday night.
The Arizona Cardinals selected Harrison with the fourth pick of the first round. Pre-draft speculation concerned whether the Cardinals would trade back from that pick to land a haul from a quarterback-needy team. Some also floated the possibility LSU’s Malik Nabers or Washington’s Rome Odunze could be the first receiver selected.
