Each activity will center around science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM). It is completely free to participate.

MUSKEGON, Mich. — STEAM Along the Lakeshore is returning to downtown Muskegon for a third year, offering free activities for families and kids of all ages.

Beginning in Hackley Park, participants will get a map to activity booths in the park, Hackley Public Library, Lakeshore Fab Lab of Muskegon Community College, Muskegon Museum of Art and Muskegon Museum of History and Science. 

Each activity will center around science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM). 

Mallory Metzger, Hackley Public Library marketing coordinator, emphasized that everyone can participate. 

“It’s really geared toward so many different ages. Kids, teens and families, students as young as kindergarten all the way up through high school, 12th grade,” she said. “This is something for everyone to enjoy.
