Attorney General looking into Capulet Fest complaints after festival cancels abruptly [Video]

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) – The I-Team has learned the Attorney General is now investigating a local music festival plagued with problems.

The I-Team first told you about issues with the “Capulet Fest” on Friday, when the festival was under fire for suddenly changing venues.

The problems didn’t stop there.

The Attorney General says they have received more than 40 complaints about Capulet Fest.

The people we spoke with hope the AG not only looks into refunds, but the fact they say organizer Estevan Vega kept selling parking and camping passes, despite the downgraded venue, sold tickets for bands that were no longer performing, and did not provide hotel accommodations like he said he would.

During the band LiveKill’s second song at Capulet Fest, they were suddenly told to stop playing, and fans were told to leave the Webster Theater.
