Butte County DA’s Office honors National Crime Victims’ Rights Week | News [Video]

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – This week is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, a week aimed at creating a safe space for victims. 

The Butte County District Attorney’s Office recognized this week, starting on Monday. 

Monday’s ceremony honored people in Butte County who have helped victims of crime get help. 

The theme on Monday was “How could you help?” The purpose of this theme is to teach community members how to help crime victims. 

The district attorney’s office honored local community members with recognition plaques for standing up when they saw something suspicious happening in their community.
