TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (TND) — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responded to rumors flying around that former President Donald Trump may be facing arrest following a grand jury indictment in Manhattan early this week over alleged hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.
When asked about the potential indictment and arrest at a press conference Monday, DeSantis called it a “manufactured circus” and “fundamentally wrong,” arguing Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg should focus on cleaning up crime in his city rather than “weaponizing” his office “to impose a political agenda on society.”
