Driver reports being shot at while driving on US 60 in Mesa [Video]

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — An East Valley driver was reportedly shot at while driving on US 60 overnight Tuesday.

Mesa police said officers responded to the alleged shooting just before 12:30 a.m. when a driver said another vehicle fired shots out of its window while driving westbound.

Police said the suspect vehicle exited the highway onto Dobson Road and has not yet been found.

The victim’s vehicle pulled onto Broadway Road, where police photographed it for evidence.

No injuries have been reported in this shooting.

In June, there were at least three shootings on freeways across the Valley. Officials provided tips if you encounter an aggressive driver while on the road.
