EASTLAND, Texas — An Eastland County Deputy seized 15 pounds of drugs during a traffic stop Wednesday.
According to police, deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding on IH-20 eastbound early Wednesday morning.
Deputy Colby Jackson conducted a search during the traffic stop and found that Shauna Madrid, of New Mexico had a hidden compartment in the floorboard of the vehicle she was driving.
That’s when police found 10 pounds of methamphetamine and five pounds of fentanyl, worth $577,000.
Madrid was taken to the Eastland County Jail for Manufacture/Delivery of a controlled substance.
