LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – With Arbor Day Friday, the Lincoln Regional Center hosted its 45th Arbor Day Ceremony on Thursday.
Eight former staff members who have since died were recognized for their service to Nebraska. The staff members were:
- Barry Berumen
- Courtney Parry
- Mark DeWitt
- Richard Durham
- Louise Stone
- Mark Vaske
- Susan Wesche
- Stanley Wiegert
Their families will have the opportunity to plant a tree on LRC’s campus in their honor.
Those new trees will join the campus’s more than 1,100 trees in this yearly tradition.
