HARTFORD, Conn — We started last fall with a trickle of entries.
Then there were the Student News Teachers workshops, and more came in. By the time submissions closed at the beginning of May, we had over 130 entries from schools all over the state. All of them are produced by students.
These are the best works that were submitted this year in the categories. Entries were judged by a panel of television professionals on whether they were newsworthy, their craftsmanship, and creativity.
The winners will be announced in a ceremony on June 5 at the University of Hartford.
