TARGET fans are rebelling and demanding better from the national chain after facing long lines at checkout.

Several large retailers like Target and Walmart have made big changes to their stores’ policies in recent years to combat theft.

Some stores rely heavily on receipt checking, while others use video surveillance technology or security cages.

At Target, a new store policy limiting self-checkout to customers with only ten items or less has upended many shoppers’ expectations.

Target leaders have said the moves are intended to streamline the customer experience and discourage theft.

But some shoppers aren’t convinced.
