Gov. Jeff Landry Unleash American Energy [Video]

Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry and other governors from multiple states held a news conference Monday after sending a letter to President Joe Biden raising concerns about the impacts of the Biden administration’s energy policy. In the letter, the governors say since taking office, the Biden administration has weakened American energy security by reducing the amount of federal acres leased for drilling. They also stated that Americans are paying 40% more for gas compared to the previous administration and believe the Biden administration’s policies are impacting low-income Americans.The governor’s energy plan would include traditional and renewable energy sources, increase the number and quality of onshore and offshore lease sales for all forms of energy production and repeal the Environment Protection Agency’s waste emission charge.
