Indiana couple charged with felony, misdemeanors for 2021 breach of U.S. Capitol Ace News Today [Video]

On March 15, the U.S. Attorney’s Office out of Washington D.C. announced that a married couple from Brownsburg, Indiana, has been arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges for their actions during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. Their actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the presidential election.

Arthur Reyher, 38, and Jessica Reyher, 38, were each charged in a criminal complaint filed in the District of Columbia with civil disorder, a felony, and related misdemeanor offenses. The Reyhers were arrested Wednesday in Indiana.

According to court documents, on January 6, 2021, the Reyhers were among those other rioters who repeatedly engaged in violence against law enforcement officers guarding the Capitol. The couple participated in the confrontation with law enforcement officers in the Lower West Terrace and tunnel areas of the Capitol. …
