Knights defeat Jumbo Shrimp 6-2 [Video]

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It was Military Appreciation Night on Monday as the Jumbo Shrimp hosted the Knights.

The Knights wasted no time jumping on the Shrimp.

With two runners on, Bryan Ramos hit a ball toward third base that bounced off the bag and rolled into left field, allowing two runs to score, putting the Knights up 2-0.

In the top of the seventh inning, with the score 4-2 Knights, Wilmer Difo hit a two-run homer to right field, extending the Knights’ lead to 6-2.

The Knights defeated the Jumbo Shrimp with a final score of 6-2.

The same two clubs will be back at it Tuesday night, July 2nd at 6:05 p.m.
