Felicia Johnson’s remains have been found in Texas after she was reported missing in California in April 2022. The 24-year-old’s bloodied mobile phone and purse were found near bones at the Sam Houston National Forest in early February. Suspect Chukwuebuka Nwobodo, 28, charged with her murder is still on the run.

From his home in San Diego, Johnson’s father, Kevin Johnson said, “The reason why her body has been found is so that she can return to get justice for herself.

“This is the first piece of the puzzle that is going to allow law enforcement to do their job and bring these guys to justice.”

Investigators believe Nwobodo lured Johnson into his apartment with the promise of $500.

She had travelled to Houston from San Diego for an unsuccessful audition at a local strip club.
