Mobiles NAACP to hold a press conference on National Gun Violence Awareness Day [Video]

MOBILE, Ala (WKRG) – Mobile’s NAACP branch announced they will host a press conference for “Project Wear Orange.”

The NAACP will hold a press conference at Government Plaza Atrium on Friday at 11 a.m. to discuss gun violence that has impacted Mobile County and the surrounding areas.

LOCATION:

People are asked to wear orange to honor the victims of gun violence, not only in Mobile but throughout the U.S.

The goal of this press conference is to express the urgency of gun awareness and openly call for more strict policies involving guns, officials said.
