New WSJ poll shows Biden, Trump virtually tied in Georgia [Video]

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A new Wall Street Journal poll shows former President Donald Trump virtually tied with Democratic White House incumbent Joe Biden in Georgia.

Trump leads Biden by one point, within the poll’s plus/minus four-point margin of error.

Besides Georgia, the poll also surveyed voters in five other 2024 battleground states: Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada and North Carolina. All showed Trump leading Biden with margins ranging from two to eight percentage points.

The poll surveyed 4,200 registered voters — 600 in each battleground state — from March 17-24, 2024.

Trump himself is headed to Atlanta next week for a major Atlanta fundraiser hosted by some of his most devoted supporters, a list that doesn’t include Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp or Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

Trump’s April 10 fundraiser is being hosted by former U.S. senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, both of whom were unseated by Democrats.
