WASHINGTON (TND) — The list of Biden family members profiting off deals with Chinese businesses continues to grow.
Hallie Biden — the widow of Joe Biden’s son Beau who later had a relationship with her brother-in-law Hunter Biden — received money from a deal with a Chinese company, according to financial records released Thursday by the House Oversight Committee.
“Part of being president is, you probably shouldn’t be engaged in foreign business dealings or have members of your family profiting off it, particularly with China,” said Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo.
According to the memo, Biden family associate Rob Walker reportedly orchestrated the $3 million deal with State Energy HK Limited less than two months after Joe Biden left office as vice president in 2017. The Daily Caller reports that the Chinese company is closely tied to the Chinese Communist Party.
