Simpson University broke ground Friday on their new business, technology, and engineering building. The new building is designed to broaden the schools curriculum more heavily into the STEM fields.

REDDING, Calif. – Simpson University broke ground Friday on its new business, technology and engineering building. The new building is designed to broaden the school’s curriculum more heavily into the STEM fields. 

The over 15,000-square-foot building will house computer labs, engineering labs, a wood shop and a metal shop. The facility also includes a veteran service center, which will provide additional training and services for the university’s veteran students to help them make the transition from life in the military to life in the public sector. 

“Simpson University has long been an advocate of the men and women that serve in our armed forces, Simpson University president Norm Hall said.
