Sioux City man faces two felony charges after allegedly shooting at another man [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – A Sioux City man is facing two felony charges for allegedly firing two gunshots at another person.

The incident took place on Wednesday, April 3, shortly after 4 p.m. Police say a man, identified as 40-year-old Jo Hansen was walking on the 100 block of 14th Street with a female party.

While standing on the stoop of a home, a criminal complaint says Hansen pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim. He allegedly fired one round which struck the front door and lodged in an interior wall of the home.

As the unnamed individual was trying to get inside the home, Hansen allegedly fired another round which hit the home. Authorities say Hansen told police he had issues with the victim, got angry and admitted to firing two shots at the victim.

Authorities say the victim was not hurt during the incident.
