Starting cool and cloudy this week, but warming up Wednesday [Video]

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – It’s been a beautiful Sunday, with metro area temperatures topping out in the upper 60s under mostly sunny skies. Central and northeast Oregon have seen a few more isolated thunderstorms this afternoon, but those have been staying east of Bend.

The very edge of a trough that’s moving through Canada will bring us cloudier and cooler conditions tomorrow and Tuesday, along with some sprinkles at times. Temperatures will remain in the upper 50s.

The rest of the 7-day forecast is trending sunny and warm! A breezier east wind will kick up at the end of the week, which could drive our high temperatures up even more. For now, we’re thinking afternoon temperatures will be in the low 70s Thursday and Friday- our warmest days.
