The Tiger King, Joe Exotic, is running for president… again. The former animal trainer and convicted animal abuser just announced his candidacy for the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election despite currently being in prison.
Joe Exotic was already infamous in Oklahoma but burst into the national spotlight thanks to the hit Netflix docuseries, “Tiger King.” He is currently serving a 21-year sentence for various crimes, ranging from animal abuse to his infamous murder-for-hire plot against wildlife activist Carol Baskin.
According to The Independent, Joe Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Allen Maldonado, made his announcement on Twitter, writing, “It’s official! I am now a candidate for President of the United States in 2024.”
