UMass students feel inspired watching pro-Palestinian protests at U.S. colleges [Video]

AMHERST, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – In the midst of the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, protests continue on college campuses across the United States. One of the first major rallies took place months ago at UMass Amherst. One of the UMass students, who was arrested back in October during a pro-Palestinian sit-in on campus, told us seeing what’s happening at other universities in recent days makes him feel inspired.

“I think a lot of us share the same sentiment. It’s really just awesome seeing this become like a national student movement and seeing like this become like something we would have seen in the 60s during Vietnam,” said Zach Leach.
