UPDATE: Abilene police arrest suspect accused of leading deputies on chase [Video]

ABILENE, Texas — A high speed chase that resulted in a manhunt Thursday has finally come to an end.

According to an arrest report, 37-year-old Alfredo Valencia was arrested Tuesday morning and has been charged with Evading Arrest and Possession of Methamphetamine. Officers found he was carrying 56 grams of meth.

Police found him in an alleyway on the north side of Abilene. He attempted to evade police again, but was caught.

On Thursday, Valencia drove an SUV through several private properties causing significant damage.

Valencia along with a female passenger hid from deputies until the search was called off.

Deputies say Valencia stole a SUV off of FM-600 in Jones County. The SUV was found in Abilene.
