FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) -The Anthony twins, Abbey and Kayla, the captains of West Valley’s softball team, have announced where they plan to play softball in college, and they chose to play for Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington.
The Vikings compete in the Northwest Athletic Conference in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Since the two have been competing since birth, Kayla answered who the better batter is, “It goes back and forth, I would say. If one of us has a better batting average, the other has a better on base percentage, so one of us will be on base and the other will be hitting the other one in, so it goes back and forth.”
Joining the twins is Lathrop’s Phoebe Holm, who committed to the Vikings last week, and the twins answered if that rivalry between the Wolf Pack and Malemutes will still be there …
