14-year-old dies, third fatality in Pueblo crash [Video]

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — A third teenager has died as a result of a crash in Pueblo in which an allegedly stolen car being driven with its headlights off at night crashed into a truck on Friday, April 12.

According to the Pueblo Police Department (PPD), three people were in a white sedan speeding on West Northern Avenue around midnight on Friday when the sedan crashed head-on into a truck turning north onto Beulah Avenue from eastbound Northern Avenue, near the Colorado State Fairgrounds. Two people, a 13-year-old and a 17-year-old, were declared dead on the scene by a Pueblo County Coroner’s investigator.

A third person, a 14-year-old boy, was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The truck driver also suffered life-threatening injuries.
