Texas A&M junior Brad Rudis was the winning pitcher in Tuesday night’s 16-3 victory over Rice. The right-hander from Madisonville will be among 61 student-athletes recognized in spring commencement ceremonies Thursday through Saturday at Reed Arena. Rudis’ major is Agriculture Leadership and Development.
Athletes in 15 sports will take part with 12 student-athletes earning master’s degrees.
Other student-athletes honored include former women’s basketball point guard Jordan Nixon who gave up the sport after her junior season in 2021-22 and Victoria De La Garza who is on the women’s track and field team and graduated from College Station. Nixon is getting a master’s in Communication, while De La Garza’s degree is in Animal Science-Production/Industry.
