Our legislators figured out a way around term limits as soon as they were passed. They just jump back and forth between the Senate and House, so they can stay in office — any office would do. In the meantime, lobbyists gained (and outright own) the upper hand in our legislative process, writes Matt Nousak of Geneva in a letter to the editor.
