BC, BU hockey teams depart Boston for Frozen Four [Video]

The city of Boston will be well-represented at this year’s NCAA Men’s Division I Frozen Four, as the Boston College and Boston University ice hockey teams will be competing for a national championship.The No. 1 BC Eagles and the No. 2 BU Terriers both departed for Saint Paul, Minnesota, on Tuesday ahead of Thursday’s national semifinal games at the Xcel Energy Center, home of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild.”We’re anxious to get there, and we know it’s going to be awesome,” said Will Smith, a freshman forward on the Boston College hockey team. “There’s a lot of support, and we can’t wait.””I think it will be pandemonium on our campus, their campus,” said Scott Cousins, a freshman student at Boston University. “The T will probably have to get shut down.”Both teams had simultaneous send-offs, which happened about 10 minutes away from each other.”They’re just a great team, and I think this …
