BIBB COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) -The Bibb County Sheriff’s Department has a new member on the force. On Friday, a company donated a K-9 in honor of fallen hero and Deputy Brad Johnson. The new K-9′s name is Ari. The Dutch Shepherd 57 pounds and will turn 2 years old in five days.
Ari made his public debut before a welcoming crowd at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Department, and already he’s been hard at work combating crime with partner Deputy Brad Taylor.
“Already been involved in 12 cases ranging from locating narcotics to tracking to finding a missing person,” said Bibb County Sheriff Jody Wade.
Ari sounded pleased himself! He is the fruition of a kind donation by Spectrum which donated more than $16,000 for the dog.
