Birmingham Police ask for your help finding Mia Nicksons killer [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Birmingham Police need your help finding the person who shot and killed 21-year-old Mia Nickson.

Nickson was killed in January, and investigators say her family is hurting, and they want justice in her case.

Police believe Mia Nickson was targeted and Officer Truman Fitzgerald says help from you is critical.

Detectives say they have looked into every lead but a tip from the community could open this case up and help them solve it.

Officer Fitzgerald says Nickson was beloved, talented and was excelling in the hair and nail field.

He says Birmingham Police won’t stop searching for the person responsible for her death and stresses no matter the information, you need to come forward if you know something.

“Nothing is too small. We know the streets are talking, we know Mia was extremely popular, but our detectives need that information. So anything you have please call that into Crime Stoppers.”
