Birmingham suing Cru Lounge, citing it as a haven for lewd and lascivious behavior [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – For the second time in a week, the city of Birmingham is asking a judge to shut down a business that the city says is linked to crime.

On Monday, May 6, the city sued a gas station on Third Avenue West that was the scene of a mass shooting over the weekend. The suit says they are trying to shut the lounge down if they don’t get their act together and do something about the illegal activity the city says happens at their business. The suit describes the business as a “haven for lewd and lascivious behavior.
