Board approves final site plans for new Red River Regional Dispatch Center [Video]

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The Red River Regional Dispatch Center Board of Authority has unanimously approved final construction drawings and site plans for the new dispatch center. Next, they will request bids from contractors for the construction of the center.

The 120 page document that was approved at the April 11 meeting includes site plans and architectural drawings, mechanical, electrical, utilities, fire protection, technology, and interior features and finishes. The new dispatch center will be built on city-owned land at 4630 15th Avenue North in Fargo.

The building will be a total of 14,900-square-feet with a durable exterior and no flashy features. The lobby is secured and ballistic rated. The only rooms accessible without credentials are the public bathrooms. The site comes with 46 parking spaces.
