A pair of teenagers who were caught dumping trash off a party boat in Florida have turned themselves in after authorities showed up to their parent’s house.

They were allegedly part of a group of revelers who were spotted pouring their cans and bottles into the Atlantic Ocean and openly celebrating the littering.

An investigation was then launched by the Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC) and a 15-year-old from Gulfstream and 16-year-old from Boynton Beach were identified using the boat’s registration.

They are now facing charges of third-degree felony of causing pollution, so as to harm or injure human health or welfare, animal, plant, or aquatic life or property, according to WFLA.

FWC officials met with the 15-year-old’s father who told them ‘this is not a representation of who we are.’
