Elon Musk, the tech billionaire and CEO of X Corp, formerly known as Twitter, has taken a defiant stance against a decision by a Brazil judge, Alexandre de Moraes.
Justice Moraes had ordered restrictions on certain X accounts, prompting Musk to call for his resignation or impeachment, Reuters noted.
Musk accused the judge of violating Brazil’s constitution and people’s rights. He vowed to legally challenge the order and criticized Moraes for imposing fines, threatening arrests, and even potentially cutting off access to X in Brazil.
Despite the potential financial loss, Musk emphasized that principles matter more than profit.
