WESTION, Wis. (WSAW) – Change can be hard for anyone, but for individuals who face additional barriers in a variety of aspects of daily life, change can be especially challenging.

Mary and Terry Brynjulfson are guardians of their daughter, Renee who has some developmental disabilities. Nearly two months after her services and rental agreement were terminated at the Jelinek Avenue apartments in Weston, the Brynjulfsons say they are still looking for a place for her to live and receive supportive services.

In January, the landlord of the apartments and the organization Renee was receiving services through, Opportunity Inc., terminated those services. She had to be out of the apartment by the end of February. Since then, Renee has been living with her parents who live on the outskirts of Wausau.
