Brian Kilmeade Calls to Cancel WH Correspondent’s Dinner [Video]

Brian Kilmeade has had enough of the Biden Administration’s rude treatment of the press and, as a result, called for the cancellation of this year’s White House Correspondents Dinner.

At issue is a recent New York Times statement calling out President Joe Biden’s rather stunning avoidance of the press, both in terms of interviews and press conferences, relative to his predecessors. The NY Times statement opens:

For anyone who understands the role of the free press in a democracy, it should be troubling that President Biden has so actively and effectively avoided questions from independent journalists during his term. The president occupies the most important office in our nation, and the press plays a vital role in providing insights into his thinking and worldview, allowing the public to assess his record and hold him to account.

This followed a Politico report that outlined a growing animosity between the Biden administration and the New York Times.
