Buffalo State fashion show tackles an eclipse theme [Video]

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The fashion department at Buffalo State University is getting ready for its biggest night of the year. 

“Runway is our annual fashion show here at Buff State in our Fashion Textile and Technology Department,” faculty director Erin Habes told 2 On Your Side. 

“This is the student work of all of our students. They’ve been working hard all during the semester to get to this show, which is this Saturday in the Sports Arena.”

The show is a pretty big big deal on campus, and this year they drew inspiration from another big recent event. 

“The theme this year is ‘True Delusion,’ and we were inspired by the total eclipse that just happened about two weeks ago,” Habes said. “It’s been the year of totality here at Buffalo State University, and so it was the perfect theme to have our students …
