Action News Now Anchor Hayley Watts shares Tylar Ainslie’s story of success as a teen leader in agriculture.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – A Biggs High sophomore and 4-H ambassador is headed to the Ignite Conference in Washington D.C. on a full-ride scholarship.

Tylar Ainslie is also a Butte County 4-H ambassador, an athlete, a Member of Biggs High School Academic Decathlon and was the only young adult chosen in all of Northern California to go to this conference.

“I’m hoping to learn the ability to help inform others in a constructive way as well as learning from them… I have a lot of people in my corner a lot of the time, there are a lot of people who believe in me and I really don’t want to let them down,” Ainslie said.

He also earned an Emerald Star for a group community service project partnering with the Oroville Rescue Mission last year. And …
