Dr. Eli Jackson with Chandler Park Dental Care, joins us to talk about the “Smiles from the Heart” event coming up on Friday.

Just over a year in the making, Wednesday evening the Bowling Green Fire Department cut the ribbon on Station #8, housed just outside the Kentucky Transpark on Glasgow Road

National CEO Jim Clark said it’s clubs like the one in Glasgow and Barren County that help provide youth with skills and experiences to place them on successful paths.

State selection committees consisting of prominent advisers in mathematics or science education, district-level personnel and/or classroom teachers reviewed Kentucky applications.

The lease rate at lots owned by the city is $35 per month.

Throughout the event, many speakers discussed how the program has benefitted both students and job openings at nearby schools.

The protests over the war in Gaza that have gripped college campuses across the U.S. came to a head Tuesday night as violent clashes erupted between pro-Palestinian protesters and counter-protesters at UCLA and police moved to arrest dozens of demonstrators who occupied a building at Columbia University. CBS News' Carter Evans and Lilia Luciano have the latest on the protests.
