Childrens of Alabama Indy Grand Prix happening this weekend [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Where can you see country music star Riley Green as Grand Marshall, have people visit from every state in the union, and see representatives from 15 different countries here in Birmingham this weekend? There is only one place – the Medical Properties Trust presents the Children’s of Alabama’s Indy Grand Prix, Powered by AmFIrst.

This is a three-day racing event with a total of 12 different races. The activities begin Thursday with practice, then the races start Friday and end with the finale of the Grand Prix race Sunday at noon. This event will be broadcast all over the world and it is the last race to fine tune their cars before the coveted Indianapolis 500 next week.
