CITY COUNCIL PREVIEW: Budgets, new apartments, McDonalds and more [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Sioux City’s City Council will hold its weekly meeting, this week, on Monday, April 1st which is set with a busy agenda.

The first item on the agenda is to approve the date for the city’s budget hearing. The hearing will go over the proposed annual budget for the fiscal year which ends on June 30th, 2025 and the fiscal year 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. This hearing will take place on April 15th at 4 p.m. on the 5th floor of Sioux City’s City Hall. The meeting is public and open for public comment.

City Council members will also be asked to approve an application to the Iowa Workforce House Tax Credit Program for a new apartment development program.
