CLINTON, N.Y. — The Village of Clinton and Town of Kirkland have approved a new banner initiative to honor local veterans.

Local resident Rebecca Stilz spearheaded the banner program.

Proforma Full Circle in Clinton is overseeing the project.

“The street banner program is open to all current and former residents of the Village of Clinton and Town of Kirkland that are currently serving or who have previously served in the U.S. Armed Forces,” according to the banner program flyer.

Each banner is priced at $150.

The banners will be displayed on poles on Utica and College streets, as well as Franklin and Kirkland avenues in Clinton and Kirkland.
